Gatefeed turns your store catalog into clean, always-in-sync product feeds for Google Shopping, Meta and AI assistants.
This companion plugin does one simple thing: it automatically adds your Google site verification tag (google-site-verification) to your site’s header, so that Gatefeed can verify and claim your website in Google Merchant Center on your behalf.
- Zero configuration: the plugin fetches your verification token from your Gatefeed account automatically
- Lightweight: a single meta tag, nothing else is loaded on your pages
- Revocable anytime: deactivate the plugin to remove the tag

This plugin connects to the Gatefeed API to retrieve the Google site verification token associated with your domain.

https://gatefeed.gatead.com/api/verification/token - Data sent: your site’s domain name only (no personal data, no content)
- When: once a day at most (response is cached)

A Gatefeed account with your store connected is required for the tag to be served.
Instalare
- Install the plugin from the WordPress directory (or upload the zip via Plugins Add New Upload)
- Activate it
- That’s it — no settings. Your Gatefeed dashboard handles the rest.
