Quick Start

Getting started with Trusona’s passwordless 2FA plugin is easy. Check-out our step-by-step getting started video.

If downloading from a browser:

Download and install the Trusona WordPress plugin. Click Activate.
On the top header, you will see the email address that you should enter when you register in the Trusona app.
Download and install the Trusona app. To download for iOS, visit the App Store. For Android devices, visit Google Play.
Follow the prompts to register within the Trusona app. Make sure to register with the same email address shown in step 2.
Return to your WordPress account and logout. When you log back in, you will see the „Login With Trusona” button.
Click “Login With Trusona” and the secure QR code will appear. Open the Trusona app on your mobile device and scan the QR code that is displayed.
Click “Accept” in the Trusona app.
Use your OS security (Face ID, Biometric or Device Lock) to confirm your True Persona.
And voila! You logged in to your WordPress admin account without needing a password!
Optional: in settings, set to Trusona ONLY mode.

I love the ability to shut down the Wordpress login page, fully replacing it with Trusona. I do see that Wordpress doesn’t update last-login times for users who come in via Trusona…that would be really helpful for login event audits. Thanks so much for making this plugin available!!!

I really love this amazing Plugin! It looks like Magic, when you LogIn in your Wordpress Site with just scanning the QR-Code.

Trusona just works. It makes WordPress logins truly passwordless. I have no idea how I have only just found Trusona. There are a few other plugin options out there but they all require extra setup, but with Trusona you just install the plugin and away you go. You need to install the Trusona app on your mobile device and link the email address you use with your WordPress account, this is the link between WordPress account and the app. If you manage several WordPress sites and each account on each website has a different email address, then you’ll need to add each of these unique email addresses to the Trusona app. Once you’ve done that logging in is simply a case of approving the login on your phone. Well done Trusona, I haven’t been this impressed with how easy a plugin works in a long time.

I actually was looking for a 2FA plugin for a easier login method. Trusona came up – read all the awesome reviews, tried it 10 seconds later and I’ve gotta say » it works like a charm 😊 🙌 ✨ Even with multiple email-addresses there is no need to switch accounts on the app. Its all automatic. And the UX is so nice, you just wanna log out and log in again and again… 😄 I will definitely recommend this to all my clients, so they don’t have the trouble of remembering, resetting and typing passwords any longer. It’s one of those thing WordPress should’ve came up with years ago. THANK YOU Trusona for this awesome tool! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Watched an interview with Frank Abagnale who mentioned this company. Did a bit of googling and noticed they had a plugin which I installed immediately. What can I say, works seamlessly and I love it! Will be rolling this out to all my sites.
