Instaled, OK, activated OK, switch to Sitekit Dashboard - failed.. Really shame for company like google. It can not make one simple plugin which Works - there are too many people with same problem.... so maybe next version...

I have been using Sitekit since it was first released. I have it installed on about a dozen sites of all kinds. I have not had any compatibility issues and it has made connecting to GA and SC easier and faster, (time and money). I have had one issue with a site that had to do with Permissions. However, it was a unique situation and I am not sure it was all the fault of Sitekit. Support was great and we did get the issue resolved. I am pretty happy with it.

What is the purpose of this? I understand some dev thinks this is usefull because his/her implementations are better because he/she is closer to google? That would be terrible because it stops open devs from making plugins and if there is one thing we learned over the years it is you can never trust google like you might have done with Wave or Buzz and the many other tools google killed off once they lost interest. I strongly discourage anyone from using this. As you can read in the other reviews the code itself is just bad as it slows down your site a lot more than other plugins with the same functionality. WPSSO is nice and made by nice people.

Gets stuck at compatibility testing. Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 () Not really a surprise.

I just used MU plugin to disable all plugins and enable site kit only. Without any plugins, the whole wp site takes 40 ms (measured by Nginx's $request_time of php processing). After I add site kit, the number increased to 52ms (a 12ms increase, 1/4 of the WordPress loading). With all other plugins used, it can be easily increased to 200 ms with network round trip which can be very slow interpreted by users. The site kit team clearly does not take performance into account, while performance is a must-have for all websites and Google itself penalize slow websites.

Site Kit affiche une page blanche après mise à jour.... J'ai l'impression que ce n'est pas la première fois que ce plugin montre ce genre de comportement... Dommage...
