Trade customers buying in bulk, contractors pricing a job, and wholesale buyers negotiating terms all expect to ask before they pay. A standard WooCommerce store gives them one option — add to cart at list price — so they leave the site and email you instead, and that enquiry arrives with no product details, no quantities, and no record in your store.

This plugin adds the missing step. A rule-based Add to Quote button appears on the products and for the customers you choose, and those items collect in a quote basket that is completely separate from the WooCommerce cart, so a shopper can keep buying normally while a quote builds alongside. When they submit the form you get an email, and the request is saved in your dashboard with every line item, quantity, variation and the price at the moment they asked.

You decide how visible it is. Rules can target any role, guests, or everyone, and can be scoped to particular products, so you can show quotes only to a wholesale role, or run quote-only mode on products where the add-to-cart button should be hidden entirely. That last mode is what turns a catalogue into a trade-only price list without hiding the products themselves.

Features

Rule-based visibility: decide who sees the Add to Quote button (any role, guests, or everyone) and on which products — first matching rule wins

Optional quote-only mode per rule: hide the add-to-cart button so matched products can only be quoted

A real quote basket, completely separate from the WooCommerce cart — customers keep shopping while their quote builds

Works with simple and variable products (selected variation and attributes are captured)

Quote page with editable quantities, remove buttons, and a request form (name, email, phone, message) — auto-created on activation with the [wmraq_quote] shortcode

Quote requests saved as entries in your dashboard (WooCommerce → Quote Requests) with items, prices at request time, customer details and a pending/processed status

Email notification to you for every request, optional confirmation email to the customer

Honeypot spam protection on the quote form, optional require-login mode

Prices recorded at request time respect the customer's role/tier discounts from other Woo Managers plugins

Compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS)

How it works

Add a rule under WooCommerce → Request a Quote (e.g. "Everyone, all products").

The Add to Quote button appears on matching products.

Customers build their quote basket and submit the request form.

You get an email, and the quote appears under WooCommerce → Quote Requests.

Who it is for

Wholesale and trade stores, B2B suppliers, made-to-order and configurable products, high-value items where shipping or volume changes the price, and any catalogue where "call for pricing" is the honest answer. It works equally well as a soft enquiry channel on a normal retail store — leave add-to-cart in place and let the quote button catch the customers who would otherwise just email you.

Need more?

A premium version with quote replies at custom prices, one-click quote-to-order conversion, negotiation history, PDF quotes and quote expiry is available at woomanagers.com.

Upload the plugin and activate it. Adding a product to a quote does not touch the WooCommerce cart, and vice versa. A customer can have items in both at the same time, which is the point: they can buy the in-stock items now and ask about the rest.

Where are quote requests stored?

As entries in your WordPress dashboard under WooCommerce → Quote Requests, with the customer's details, their message, every requested item and the price each item had at the moment of the request.
