Simple plugin that bulk changes the date/s of all published posts to any random date in the past or future. It comes with simple (but powerfull) „Post Date Randomizer” setting where you can set the time range for the post randomization and the post type (auto detects all post types existing on your website). It supports all time ranges from past or future. Post whith dates in the future will be sheduled.

Key Features:

  • Add random dates to all your published posts, pages, custom post types, products.
  • Option to setup the time range for post randomization
  • It can be used to Shedule all your published posts if you setup dates that are in the future.

In which WordPress version this Plugin is compatible?

It is compatible from 3.8 to 5.8 WordPress version.

Warning

The date/s change is not revertable. Please backup your website before you use it.

Instalare

  • Download the plugin
  • Upload the folder „post-date-randomizer” to wp-content/plugins (or upload a zip through the WordPress admin)
  • Activate and enjoy!

Usually I do not take the time to review a plugin unless there is a fatal problem or the plugin is exceptional. I use this plugin on every new site I create and it is a real time saver. I contacted support for a minor problem and the reply was fast and helpful. If you have any use for randomizing posts then I recommend this plugin.

Amazing But Lacking

I understand that this project isnt maintained often. But for what it is, i give it 5 stars. If the author sees this; it seems to crash WP when I try to randomize lets say 5000 posts. Additionally it would be great if we could only randomize posts that were newly added or posts from a specific category. Overall an amazing randomizer!

Thanks for this handy plugin. We imported 1500 post titles with automated content. This plugin did a nice job of randomizing all the posts. We can then use a reposter plugin to keep the posts fresh and posted to social media. Nice job!
