animated welcome modal on your WordPress site. Designed for elegance and flexibility,
it lets you greet visitors with a stylish message, control animation effects, and
fine-tune appearance and timing. Fully compatible with TranslatePress for multilingual
sites.

## Instalare

 1. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` or install via the WordPress
    Plugin Directory.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. Go to **Smart Modal** in the WordPress admin sidebar (or under Appearance, if selected)
    to configure settings.
 4. Customize your welcome sentence, appearance, animation, and layout as desired.
 5. Save changes. The modal will appear on the front-end according to your settings.

### How do I change the welcome message?

Go to **Smart Modal** settings in your WordPress admin. Enter your desired sentence
in the „Sentence” field.

### Can I change the animation direction and speed?

Yes. In the settings, choose your preferred animation direction and set delays for
word animation and modal closing.

### Is the modal responsive?

Yes. Font sizes and spacing can be set separately for desktop, tablet, and mobile.

### How do I translate the modal sentence?

Custom Smart Modal is fully compatible with TranslatePress. The sentence is output
in a way that allows TranslatePress to detect and translate it.

### Can I change where the settings menu appears?

Yes. Use the „Show menu under Appearance” checkbox to move the settings menu from
the main sidebar to the Appearance section.

### Does this plugin affect SEO or accessibility?

The modal and preloader are designed to be lightweight and unobtrusive. However,
the preloader temporarily hides page content for a few seconds; test with your theme
and accessibility overlays.
